Wood-Fired Pizza, Fired On Site At Your Event

Pit Pizza is a trailer-mounted wood-fired oven that rolls up to your party, wedding, company event or public gathering. Dough is stretched, topped and baked in front of your guests, so the pizza they eat is the pizza they just watched go into the fire. Tell us the date, the headcount and the spot, and we will tell you if the oven fits.

Why event pizza goes wrong

Delivered pizza was never built for a crowd

Pizza is the easiest crowd-pleaser there is, and one of the hardest to serve well at scale. A stack of boxes starts cooling the moment the driver leaves the shop. By the time the last guest is in line, the first slices are limp and the cheese has set. Hosts end up apologizing for food that was fine an hour ago.

A mobile wood-fired oven changes the order of operations. The fire is at the event, the dough is shaped as people arrive, and each pie is baked and handed over while it is still blistering. You also get something to look at: a live flame, a person working dough, and a reason for guests to gather instead of drifting to their phones.

How It Works

How booking the oven works

  1. 1

    Send the basics

Give us the event type, date, rough guest count and the address or venue.

  2. 2

    Confirm the fit

The operator checks the date, the access, the setup space and any venue or local rules.

  3. 3

    Lock the plan

Menu, serving window, arrival time and deposit terms are agreed in writing.

  4. 4

    We fire up

The trailer arrives ahead of service, lights the oven and bakes to order for your guests.

Who It's For

Who the oven is built for

Backyard hosts

Birthdays, graduations and neighborhood parties where the food should be part of the show.

Couples

Rehearsal dinners, receptions and late-night food that guests actually talk about.

Office teams

Team lunches, client appreciation days and company gatherings without a catering tray line.

Schools and community groups

Fundraisers, field days and open houses that need food served fast and fresh.

Breweries and venues

Taprooms and public events that want a food option guests can watch being made.

Event planners

Planners who need a self-contained caterer with clear setup needs and a clean handoff.

Your guests watch it get made. Then they eat it hot.

Questions

Booking Questions

What does Pit Pizza actually bring to an event?

A trailer-mounted wood-fired oven, the crew to run it, and the dough, toppings and tools needed to bake pizza on site. The details of the menu and what is included are confirmed when you book, so you know exactly what to expect before the day.

Where does Pit Pizza operate?

Service areas are set by the operator. Send your event address with your request and you will get a straight answer on whether it falls inside the area the oven covers.

Do I need to provide anything at my venue?

Most events need a level, accessible spot for the trailer and room around it for guests and staff. Specific needs, including clearance from structures and any power or water requirement, depend on the unit and on local fire and health rules, and are confirmed during booking.

Can you handle vegetarian, vegan or gluten-conscious guests?

Tell us about dietary needs when you inquire. Vegetarian and vegan pies are straightforward to plan. Gluten is a different matter: a shared oven and flour-dusted workspace mean cross-contact is a real risk, so we will explain what can and cannot be promised for guests who must avoid gluten.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you know your date, especially for weddings and weekend dates. A single oven can only serve one event at a time, so a firm date and a short conversation about your setup is the fastest way to hold it.
